How to block a website in PC without using any software

There is an option to block the websites in your PC without using any software. Follow the following steps:

1. Goto MyComputer --> open C drive (Drive in which Windows OS is installed) 
   
2. Open a folder named Windows folder
   
3. Inside Windows folder, search for System32 folder
   
4. Inside System32, search for Drivers folder
5. Inside Dirvers, search for etc folder
6. In etc folder you will find a file named hosts. The file will be as follows.
   
7. Open hosts --> goto last line --> press enter 
8. Type 127.0.0.1 <space> www.example.com , as in the following figure.
